Barbeque, Beef, Marinades
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sherry
1/8 cup honey
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp minced garlic 3-5 cloves
pinch red pepper flakes
1 flat iron steak
Combine all ingredients other than the steak.
Place flat iron steak in a gallon zip lok bag.
Pour marinade over the steak & marinate 3-6 hours or overnight.
Grill the steak on high direct heat for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare steak — longer for medium.
Allow steaks to rest for 5 minutes before slicing & serving.
Garnish with green onion slivers & roasted sesame seeds.
